Every so often someone comes along with a unique passion for Life and Art and we are pleased to welcome Tina Johnston to our Mountain Mist Productions Family.

Tina will be working with us on our new venture at www.1stmistcards.com where we will have beautiful images and fun pages and greetings to share as well as cards and peripherals for sale. We are looking forward to eventually being able to publish Tina's work and offer images for sale on a commercial basis.

Meantime, please visit our card site and enjoy the artistry and beauty of the work showcased by our Authors and Artists. Mountain Mist Productions consists of some very talented people and we are delighted to have Tina and her special gifts with us.

ABOUT TINA JOHNSTON

Tina Johnston comes to us with an engineering background but she has long nurtured a passion for Photography. Born in England, she came to Australia by ship with her family and remembers the ship docked at Fremantle on her Twelfth Birthday. Tina now calls Australia home and resides in Melbourne where she is kept busy with her very large family and her life as a "shutter-bug". Her many interests provide ample inspiration and photographic opportunities and she rarely leaves home without a camera in tow.

Says Tina, " I've loved taking photos since I found an old, cracked camera when I was about nine years old. My first efforts yielded a whole roll of disappointment because of course, the cracks were letting in light and the film was pretty well ruined, so I determined to buy myself a camera that worked, and saved up all my pennies until I had enough (24/6d) to buy a Kodak Brownie 127, which I actually still have tucked away !"

The photograph above shows Tina with that original camera, although these days her camera equipment is slightly more sophisticated!
