Lilian White is an Australian businesswoman and a long-standing published Author. As well as writing historical sagas, she excels in the Contemporary and Biblical Romance genres. Lilian is also a very talented Children's Author. Her Short Stories and Poems have found diverse outlets, including Writers World at Surfers Paradise, Australia. The Poem, “The Enchanting Princess”, published by The Townsville Bulletin, Australia, occasioned a “Thank-you” on behalf of the Princess of Wales.  Another credit in her career includes writing a ten-minute documentary entitled Faith in 1999. This resulted in the film, Leathers from Hell.

A graduate of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT),  Lilian White was born in Blackall, in the red plains of Western Queensland, Australia. One of seven children, Lilian grew up in a working-class environment with her mother working in the family’s roadhouse while her father worked all around the country.

A young Lilian White learned that hard work can bring about great rewards. After pursuing careers in nursing and business, she decided to become a novelist. Although sitting at her desk now is a far cry from those red plains of Western Queensland, Lilian loves writing because of the many worlds she can visit in her imagination. Whether she’s going to the movies, visiting her family or reading and writing sagas and children’s books,  baking cakes or having candlelight dinners and listening to music or tutoring, Lilian lives her life to the fullest and enjoys everyday activities as do the many readers of her books.

Lilian White is an accomplished Speaker and Teacher and conducts Workshops for Writers at Libraries on a regular basis. If you are interested in having Lilian speak or teach at your venue contact us.
