From L P King... "Our newest family member is Ellen Weisberg, Author of Gathering Roses, a Young Adult Novel with a much wider appeal; we predict big things for this book. Introverted and studious Lori Solomon meets nonconformist Grateful Dead follower, Nick Warren, and soon finds herself on a seemingly endless carnival ride with him. Although not always apparent to Lori, it is Nick’s precarious health condition that seems to underlie his outlook on life, influencing what he expects to get out of it as well as what he feels he needs to put into it.

Here at Mountain Mist Productions we also encourage our Authors to seek traditional contracts elsewhere and we had only featured Ellen's E-Book for two weeks when she landed a contract with UK Publisher Chipmunka Publishing. It is wonderful when one of The Family gets a break and we were all shouting to the rooftops!

But... we would have been very sad to see Ellen go because her dedication to her work and her genuine concern for other people is infectious and in the short time she has been with us she has become a valued member of The Family. Good news is... we have been spared losing her because she is a person of many talents and has joined us an as Illustrator for our Greeting Cards."

attitude flowing. Literature is an art. Art makes life
and living more beautiful. The energy surrounding
Mountain Mist seems to keep these priorities in check-
and I think that makes the site so unique.

ABOUT ELLEN WEISBERG

Ellen Weisberg holds a PhD in Pharmacology and has been doing research in the field of leukemia. For the past several years she has also been involved in radio broadcasting and her experiences in both fields have served as an inspiration for Gathering Roses, soon to be published by Chipmunka Publishing.

Ellen's writing credentials include a short story fantasy, entitled Fruit of the Vine, and a poem, entitled If Only, which have been accepted for publication in PKA's Advocate. She has also co-authored and illustrated, with her husband, a children's US geography book entitled Friends and Mates in Fifty States, which is being published by Minnesota-based Galde Press.
